Sree Narayana Arts and Science College Library, a professionally organized and managed space dedicated to promoting academic excellence, provides students with a wide range of resources to support their learning and research. The library is divided into various sections, including circulation, newspaper reading, digital library corner, general reading area, periodicals, reference reading, book banks, and online access services. We are committed to offering a well-rounded collection of materials that cover a wide range of topics and disciplines.
Our collection includes over 7500 books, 25+ periodicals, 5+ newspapers, 199500+ e-books, 6000+ e-journals and print journals which are carefully curated to meet the needs of our students and faculty. Our online services for book search make it easy for students to find the materials they need quickly. We have implemented computerization to enable fast and efficient services to our students, and our library staff is always available to provide guidance and support. The Library building has an area of 2500.04 Sq.ft. and has ramps for easy and convenient access to differently abled users.

Sree Narayana Arts and Science College subscribes to the N-LIST programme, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through ICT.
The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers, and faculty from colleges. Authorized users from the college can access e-resources and download articles directly from publishers’ websites after authentication via servers deployed at the INFLIBNET Centre.

This service includes issue, return, renewal, and reservation of documents for library members at the circulation desk. Members are eligible to borrow books for home reading for a specified period.

Library staff assists in searching the library for books, journals, etc. The Internet facility is also available, which serves as a gateway to literature. Conducting a literature search involves using web-based search engines such as Google, Google Scholar, or various electronic research databases.
The library subscribes to subject-oriented journals and popular magazines based on the recommendations of the Library Advisory Committee and user requests.
The reference desk provides users with guidance to library materials, advice on collections and services, and access to expert resources like encyclopaedias, dictionaries, yearbooks, directories, etc.
D-Space is the digital repository of our college. It contains collections of previous year question papers, student projects, photo archives of various events, and more.
Digital versions of library books are available. Members can access them using the systems provided in the library.
The Library Network Resource Centre offers an e-journal search facility through the N-LIST INFLIBNET platform.
Library users can use the CDs and DVDs available in the library for reference purposes.
N-LIST stands for “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content”. It is funded by the MHRD to extend access to selected e-resources to colleges.
The browse and search interface allows users to search e-journals, back issues, and subscribed resources under the consortium for registered colleges. S.N. College is a member of INFLIBNET-NLIST. Users can search for journal titles, words in titles, and publishers. Separate usernames and passwords are provided for all users to access this facility.

The National Digital Library of India is a project under Ministry of Human Resource Development, India. The objective is to collect and collate metadata and provide full text index from several national and international digital libraries, as well as other relevant sources. NDLI has been developed by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. It is a single window platform that collects resources from premier learning institutions in India and abroad and other relevant sources. It is open to all at free of cost.
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time.
