Dr. Nadia C. Raj is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Hindi. She holds a Ph.D. in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras, along with an M.Phil. and M.A. from the same institution. Dr. Nadia has also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Translation and a Siksha Snathak (equivalent to B.Ed. in Hindi), showcasing her extensive academic background. Her research interests focus on Drama and Realism, and she is passionate about teaching Hindi language and literature. Dr. Nadia has contributed to several academic publications, with chapters in edited volumes, such as Sahitya Aur Samkaleen Chinthan, Hindi Natak Samajik Sarokar, and Samkaleen Hindi Sahitya: Vividh Paridrusyya. She has also edited books like Harit Sahitya, Gadya Manjari, and Media Aur Hindi Kahani. In addition to her publications, she has authored a journal article on contemporary familial realism in Dr. Shankar Shesh’s plays. As an active academic contributor, Dr. Nadia has presented papers and served as a resource person at various seminars. Her involvement in academia extends to serving as a Member in the Hindi Board of Studies (BOS) of MG University and Sacred Heart College ( Autonomous ), Chalakudy, Thrissur. Dr. Nadia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her students, enriching the learning environment with her deep knowledge of Hindi literature, and her dedication to teaching and research.
