Sree Narayana College, Kumarakom, commemorated World Environment Day 2025 with vibrant participation from students, faculty, and the local community. The celebration aligned with the United Nations’ theme of “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience,” emphasizing the urgent need for sustainable land management and environmental responsibility.

The day began with a campus tree-planting drive, where students and staff joined hands to plant over 100 native saplings around the college grounds. This symbolic act of greening the campus was followed by a clean-up campaign along the nearby Vembanad backwaters, showcasing the college's dedication to environmental conservation.
