On 15 August 2025, the NSS Unit participated in Independence Day celebrations,joined the flag-hoisting ceremony, sang the national anthem, and presented a ceremonial flag to neighbouring houses and conducted painting competition at Govt. North L.P. School, Kumarakom. The event fostered camaraderie between institutions and reinforced patriotic values.
